Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent across various departments. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for finding and nurturing the best talent while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet staffing goals.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Partner with department leaders to identify workforce needs and create job descriptions.
Leverage various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and networking events.
Strive in direct sourcing candidates through Indeed and Linked In
Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate data and reporting.
Build relationships with local colleges, trade schools, and community organizations to establish talent pipelines.
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Stay informed about industry trends and labor market conditions to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
Lead employer branding initiatives to promote Roto-Rooter as an employer of choice.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the service or trade industry.
Proficiency in using ATS platforms and other recruitment tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements related to hiring in multiple states
