The Buehler’s Food Service Support is a key position within the Food Service Department. This position has the opportunity to support Restaurant Operations. They work closely with their manager and co-workers to make sure that the customer has an exceptional experience either while shopping in our store or dining in our restaurant. Two of our company strategies are to become the Best in Food Service and The Freshest Foods and that starts with one meal or shopping trip at a time.

FOH – Restaurant

• Buss tables to ensure they are cleaned promptly after customers leave
• Great and Seat guests when needed
• Assist with mentoring new employees
• Ensure the dining room is spotless – table, floors, walls – everything
• Comply with sanitation requirements, health and personal hygiene standards

BOH – Food Prep Area

• Wash all dirty dishes and put them away in their assigned areas
• Maintain a spotless area and assist with cleaning as needed in BOH
• Comply with sanitation requirements, health and personal hygiene standards

• Enjoy working with teammates and customers
• Provide a positive and friendly attitude

• Deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service and are committed to making each meal special

• Have an eye for display and food preparation

• Manage stress and keep your composure when it gets busy during the lunch or dinner rush, during special holidays (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and many others) as well as prepare for large or multiple catered events

• Work with minimal supervision while being highly productive

• Value being dependable, reliable and flexible with your schedule to accommodate customer demand
• Accommodate staffing needs during our store hours including the ability to work weekends
• Understand that this is not designed to cover all the duties that are required, and there may be changes to your duties or responsibilities without notice

• Minimum 16 years of age
• You may occasionally be required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# and occasionally 80#
• You will need manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
• You don’t mind our kitchen environment that includes equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives…so frequently you will be exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disability to perform the essential functions
