Assistant Manager

Position Summary

Join as an Assistant Manager at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar
. You will lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring guests and staff are passionate about their experience.

• Ensure timely, friendly service and achieve unit objectives.
• Cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee’s values.
• Respond immediately to guest complaints and maintain guest contact priority.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform line checks for product preparation.
• Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands.
• Maintain safety, security, cleanliness and sanitation programs.
• Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs.
• Promote recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Provide fair performance feedback and maintain compliance with policies.
• Control costs and prepare accurate daily paperwork.
• Assure sanitation standards meet health department guidelines.

• 2–3 years restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications (plus).
• Strong problem‑solving, stress‑management and leadership skills.

• Work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and move for up to ten (10) hours.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read and write to facilitate communication.
