Overview
Join Us in Shaping the Future of Sustainable Packaging! Are you passionate about creating packaging that delights consumers and protects the planet? We’re looking for a Packaging Development Technologist to help transform our Foods portfolio across Europe. This is your chance to make a real impact by delivering innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for iconic brands like Hellmann’s, Knorr, Calvé, Maille, Marmite, and more.
Why This Role Matters
Packaging plays a critical role in how consumers experience our products—and in meeting ambitious environmental goals. With new European regulations on recyclability and recycled content coming into effect by 2030, we need forward‑thinking experts to lead the way. In this role, you’ll ensure our packaging is not only compliant but also consumer‑centric and future‑ready.
What You’ll Do
Lead packaging projects focused on sustainability, innovation, and quality.
Develop and validate packaging solutions through testing and trials.
Create accurate technical specifications and ensure compliance with EU and local regulations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement—and external partners to bring ideas to life.
Support consumer research to design packaging that truly resonates.
Maintain precise data for regulatory and business needs.
What We’re Looking For
A degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of packaging materials such as plastics, paper, glass, and metal.
Experience in project management and an understanding of food packaging safety.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams.
A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
Fluent in English; occasional travel may be required.
What’s In It for You?
Be part of a collaborative, innovative team that values sustainability and consumer experience.
Work on high‑impact projects that shape the future of packaging in Europe.
Opportunities for professional growth and development in a global organization.
See your work on shelves across Europe and make a tangible difference.
Ready to Make Your Mark?
Apply now and help us create packaging that consumers love—and the planet needs.
