Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our Mueller's site in Wagoneer. This position supports the business by providing great customer service and facilitating the shipping and loading process for the business, handling all the products for the business, and ensuring that the production lines have the raw material to use, that customers receive their products, and that our delivery trucks are loaded.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

• Receive loading documents for jobs.
• Properly load delivery truck and customer vehicles. Use a combination of forklift vehicle, overhead crane and manual labor to perform tasks.
• Unload stock truck and place material in correct location.
• Perform Grounds Upkeep (mowing, weed eating, etc...).
• Assist in inventory management activities to include cycle counts and spot checks.
• Coordinate deliveries with sales representatives.
• Pre-pull customer pick-up orders to ensure ready to be loaded when customer arrives.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Report inventory levels to management.
• Coordinate loading trailer(s) for all deliveries.
• Ensure that all customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and timely.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience driving a forklift.
• Manufacturing experience, picking up products from jobs, and loading and unloading products preferred.
• Experience with technology; especially handheld scanners and computers.
• Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable.
• Attention and care are required to prevent injury to others when performing work.
• Ability to stoop, bend, stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
