Job Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve at Essentia Health's Wahpeton Clinic in Wahpeton, North Dakota. This RN works on a casual, as needed basis, picking up shifts to support clinic needs. Clinic hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care in a professional practice that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Deliver care in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community outpatient settings, and telehealth nursing encounters in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home or business. Exercise authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; make decisions and take actions to promote health and provide optimal care, recognizing that health is a universal right.

Interact with patients in collaboration with other health professionals; use the nursing process to assess concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, implement the appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications
  • Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
  • Minnesota RN license required within 3 months of hire.
  • AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
