Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for emergency repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in [industry or sector].
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Valid driver's license.
