A Pastry Cook 2 is responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production, and quality control of all bread, pastry, and dessert items.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of pastry experience in a high-volume kitchen or bakery, working with cakes, breads, and various pastries. Weekend availability and flexible shifts are required. Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus!

What will I be doing?

  • Visually inspect, select, and use only high-standard food items in all menu preparations.
  • Ensure proper storage of products (first in, first out), check expiration dates, label, date, and rotate stock appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of refrigeration, equipment, storage, and work areas, adhering to food safety standards and using sanitizing solutions properly.
  • Organize mise en place for the next day's preparations.
  • Ensure HACCP compliance through temperature monitoring, good sanitation practices, and proper documentation.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $26.86 to $29.85.
