As a Pastry Cook 3, you will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production, and quality control of all bread, pastry, and dessert items.
What will I be doing?- Performing all prep work for cakes, pies, mousses, plated desserts, filling Danish pastries, organizing and cleaning walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Storing all food products in walk-in coolers/freezers and dry storage, including covering, labeling, dating, and proper rotation. Checking expiration dates, especially for highly perishable items.
- Performing general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitoring temperatures (hot and cold holding, refrigeration) per HACCP standards and maintaining good food safety and sanitation practices, including proper use of sanitizing solutions.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.98 to $26.65.
