Position: Lead Recreation Attendant - Hilton Waikoloa Village

Lead Recreation Attendant – Hilton Waikoloa Village

The Hilton Waikoloa Village is located on the stunning scenic Kohala Coast and offers a vibrant, award‑winning culture that values a friendly workplace, competitive health benefits, career growth opportunities, and a strong Aloha Spirit throughout the property. The resort covers 63 acres and includes 6 pools, 4 water slides, an ocean‑fed lagoon with water toys and activities, and 72 cabanas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Recreation Manager with the overall coordination of guest activities.
  • Host and facilitate key entertainment and revenue/non‑revenue programs and events such as trivia, sports and deck games, pool events, children’s events, and other special events, providing a positive first impression to every guest.
  • Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns promptly, and assist with rentals of clam‑shell cabanas, luxury loveseats, and luxury beds.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the pool and program areas by picking up trash and collecting towels as needed.
  • Spend sufficient time each day engaging with guests to develop rapport and carry out conversations.
  • Inform guests of daily activities and explain each event.
  • Enter the pool at a depth of 4 feet daily to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain supplies and order proper materials for crafts, activities, and cabanas, and develop materials for special activities and programs as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Availability to work a 10‑hour shift (7:00 am – 8:30 pm) for 4 days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in recreation, program planning, or event planning.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate and CPR/First Aid training.
  • All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance.
  • No relocation or visa sponsorship is available; only applicants residing locally will be considered.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Full‑time schedule.
  • Hourly rate: $23.00.
