Female Caregiver – Part-Time for Senior Client; Wailuku

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate female caregiver to provide part-time support for a client living with dementia and mild mobility limitations. The client remains fairly independent but needs help with personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship to maintain her comfort and safety at home.

Location: Wailuku, Hawaii, 96793

Schedule:

• 2–3 hours per day, 2x per week
• Preferred days:
  Monday & Wednesday or weekends
• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation: $20 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

• Assist with brushing teeth and basic hygiene
• Help make the bed and tidy up living space
• Support during doctor7s appointments (client has difficulty with stairs)
• Provide standby assistance and supervision
• Assist with bathing (2x per week)
• Help with diaper changes as needed
• Light housekeeping (vacuuming, organizing, maintaining cleanliness)
• Offer companionship — engage in games, conversations, or light activities (cards, board games)
• Must be able to drive and accompany the client to appointments or errands as needed

• Valid driver's license required
• Physically strong and able to assist safely with mobility
• Experience with dementia care preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Excellent communication and reliability are essential — caregiver must notify the family in advance if unable to report for a scheduled shift
