Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need ICU position in Hawaii requiring an active HI RN license and recent ICU experience.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Utilizes Epic EMR
• Care for critically ill adult patients in an acute hospital ICU
• Use of specialized ICU equipment and procedures including dialysis and SLED as needed
• EPIC charting experience is beneficial
• Local candidates are welcome as local and travel rates are the same
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break per applicable policies

• Active HI RN license required at the time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum one year of recent (within last three years) full-time equivalent ICU experience
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Submission must include last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
