County of Maui, Maui, HI, seeks an Automotive Mechanic I to maintain, repair and overhaul gasoline and diesel powered automotive equipment including construction equipment. The role may supervise helpers and lead maintenance tasks on a journey level.
The position requires completion of apprenticeship or four years of experience with automotive repair, and a Hawaii Type 3 license; CDL may be required for certain duties. Heavy physical effort expected.
