East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Grade 6 Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta. This full‑time temporary contract replaces maternity leave. Duties commence May 11, 2026, and terminate June 26, 2026 (possible extension).

• Bachelor of Education
• Ability to teach Grade 6 subjects
• Focus on high quality, student‑centered learning
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
• Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs)
• Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all

• An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
• A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor. Please provide email contact for references.
• A recent and clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
• A recent and clean Intervention Record Check
