East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Learning Support Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.

This is a full-time temporary contract position. Duties commence on August 26, 2026, and the contract will terminate on February 28, 2027.

• Monitors and supports IPP and EAL creation and implementation
• Supervises all educational assistants
• Oversee inclusive programming resources and spaces
• Member of committee for hiring educational assistants
• Liaise with specialists such as SLP and OT
• Support teachers with universal, differentiated, and EAL strategies
• Attends divisional and provincial professional development training and administrative meetings as directed by the Inclusive Education Coordinator

• Bachelor of Education
• Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
• Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
• Ability to develop, implement and monitor division and school inclusive educational strategies and goals
• Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all

• An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts
