Position: Full-Time Learning Support Teacher Role
Join Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta as a full-time Learning Support Teacher. This temporary contract role focuses on supporting IPPs, EAL strategies, and inclusive education.
East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a dedicated professional to start a 1.0 FTE contract from August 26, 2026, to February 28, 2027. You will monitor and support Individual Program Plans (IPPs), supervise educational assistants, and oversee inclusive programming resources. Collaboration with teachers and specialists will be essential to deliver high-quality, student-centered learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support IPP and EAL implementation

• Supervise all educational assistants effectively

• Oversee inclusive programming and resource allocation

• Collaborate with specialists like SLP and OT

• Support teachers with differentiated educational strategies
Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education required

• Alberta teaching certificate necessary
