Water Treatment Operator

Become a Water Treatment Operator at CFB Wainwright, focusing on water quality assurance and chemical management. This role involves daily inspections, SCADA systems, and laboratory work.
This position requires you to apply your Water Treatment Level 1 certification while ensuring optimal chemical dosing and water quality monitoring. Weekly maintenance of GE membrane systems and the execution of preventative tasks are integral to your responsibilities. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of drinking water for both military and civilian populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor SCADA systems for real-time performance

• Conduct thorough inspections and calibrations of equipment

• Lead water quality sampling and analysis efforts

• Manage chemical inventories and optimize dosing

• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
Requirements:

• Must possess Water Treatment Level 1 certification

• Water Distribution certification is an asset

• Five years of Canadian residency for security clearance
