Registered Nurse in Obstetrics

This casual/relief position focuses on acute care with an emphasis on obstetrics. You will utilize critical thinking and nursing processes to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to patients and families

• Conduct health assessments and provide patient education

• Advocate for patient needs and communicate effectively

• Support labor and delivery processes, including C-sections

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program

• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including patient lifting

• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights/weekends
