East Alberta Wellness Coach

Position: East Central Alberta Wellness Coach Role
Become a Wellness Coach with East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division, focusing on mental wellness for students. Deliver prevention, education, and crisis intervention services in Stettler and Castor schools.

This role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and fixed-term from August 2026 through June 2027. You will work alongside the Family School Liaison Worker, providing a comprehensive approach to mental wellness. Ideal candidates will have expertise in mental health and a desire to engage with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school staff on mental wellness initiatives

• Design and conduct mental wellness programs for students

• Equip families with resources on mental health topics

• Deliver engaging presentations focused on wellness

• Manage crisis responses and problem-solving strategies

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Services is essential

• Experience with in K-12 education

• Knowledge of community engagement practices

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Ability to integrate technology in support of learning
