OverviewAs an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities- Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, tire repairs, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance.
- Learn basic automotive services by working with mid- and senior-level technicians.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, with clear communication about vehicles and service needs.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations and maintain safety and quality standards.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, which may include lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience isn't required; training provided.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions; willingness to learn new technologies in the automotive industry.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
- Pay range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour; base pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
