TEKsystems is currently searching for professional candidates interested in a Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Credit Union in the Mililani 96789 area!
Job DescriptionTo provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.
Experience- 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handling, customer service
- Cash handling experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required
- Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans
- Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
- Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration
- Perform platform banking functions
- Full‑time / 40 hours per week
- MUST be available between Monday‑Friday: 8:00am‑5:30pm, Saturday: 8:00am‑1:30pm
- Could be expected to work 2‑3 Saturdays a month depending on business need
This is a Contract position based out of Waipahu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 – $21.00/hr.
