Position Summary:

Reporting to the Food Solutions Operations Manager and Assistant Production Managers, this position is primarily responsible for packing products generated through wholesale processing.

Essential Functions:

Assembles boxes and packing materials for wholesale products. Construct boxes and cases as required.

Set up and clean the glue machine.

Pack and seal retail products into individual boxes then cases, pack and seal food service bags into cases, and properly label and date all boxes.

Record batch codes, dates on the log and number of cases packed on the proper log.

Stacks finished cases on pallets and properly labels the pallet with the item name and date.

Responsible for keeping the storage room area free of debris as well as the lunch room area.

Removes trash and sweeps up trash.

Other Functions:

When time permits, ask the Manager for more assignments.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Scheduling:

Monday through Sunday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Physical Ability:

Must be able lift up to 40 pounds
Required to stand 7 hours at a time

Mental Ability:

Ability to reason and use common sense

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must pass pre-employment physical and drug-screening
Must also have passed a TB test dated/issued within 12 months of date of hire OR dated/issued at the age of 16 or older.
Full Vaccination of the Covid-19 Vaccine is preferred

Environmental Conditions:

Must be able to work in temperatures up to 40F for 6 hours at a time

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
