Delivery Specialist

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position also collects money on C.O.D. deliveries and picks up customer returns.

Pay range: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily inspections, and keep keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and collected monies secure.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and other duties as assigned.

Required

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meets the company’s 14/18-point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and meet eligibility requirements.

• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
