Payroll Specialist

Payroll Vault Wake Forest/Raleigh | Full-time | On-site and Remote

Payroll Vault Wake Forest/Raleigh is a locally owned payroll services business that works primarily with small-medium sized business owners. We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to help our clients get payroll right and to provide friendly, dependable service along the way.

• Process accurate, on-time payroll for multiple clients
• Set up new clients and employees in our payroll system
• Answer client and employee questions about payroll, deductions, HR solutions and system functions
• Research and resolve payroll and tax issues
• Assist clients in using isolved and its features

• In-depth knowledge of payroll and HR setup and operations, including ability to handle complex issues
• 10+ years of payroll industry experience preferred
• 3+ years of isolved experience preferred
• Additional systems knowledge:
  Excel, Microsoft Teams, Hub Spot, Employee Navigator
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll tax requirements
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet firm deadlines
• Clear, friendly communication with small business owners
• Multitask, re-prioritize, shuffle your to-do list, and multitask again: this must be second nature
• CPP or FPC certification is a plus
