Dental Hygienist – Premier Dentistry of Wake Forest

Heartland Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Premier Dentistry of Wake Forest. The position offers a Monday‑Wednesday 7‑5 pm schedule in a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

As a Clinical Hygienist, you will provide exceptional patient care, manage hygiene procedures, and support the practice’s educational mission.

• Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, oral health education, and periodontal maintenance.
• Screen patients, take and interpret dental records, and document medical histories.
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to develop treatment plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all hygiene instruments and equipment.
• Support clinic operations through accurate charting and compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols.

• Current North Carolina dental hygienist license.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (required).
• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic health records is preferred.

• New graduates and experienced hygienists encouraged to apply.
