What You'll Be Doing
The Physician provides health care to patients in the Wake County Health and Human Services Clinics. This position will be located at our Northern Regional Center in Wake Forest.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
On-call duties:
Provide backup call to the nurse triage line on a rotating basis with other providers.
Physician does not provide in-person care after clinic hours.
NOTE: Wake County Health and Human Services employees working in the Health Clinics and Public Health Division must receive influenza immunization as a condition of employment, subject to federal law. Employees actively support and participate in department emergency preparedness and response activities, which may include temporary changes in responsibilities and working hours.

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Three years of experience with completed residency
- NC Medical Board licensure
- Medical license/certification in a specialist field
- DEA registration
- Hospital credentialing or eligibility
- Equivalent education and experience are NOT accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)
- Over one year experience as a FNP or PA specializing in OB/GYN and/or pediatrics

Hiring Range: $158,613 - $222,061, commensurate with experience
Market Range: $158,613 - $285,510
