Hybrid Caregiver / Office Administrator

Homewatch Caregivers of North Raleigh and Wake Forest is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Hybrid Caregiver/Office Administrator to join our growing home care team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients while also supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of a home care agency.

The Hybrid Caregiver/Office Administrator will provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes while assisting with a variety of office and administrative responsibilities. Caregiving duties may include companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and other non-medical support based on each client’s individualized care plan.

When working in the office, responsibilities may include assisting with scheduling and staffing, answering phones and responding to client or caregiver inquiries, maintaining records and documentation, communicating with clients and families, assisting with caregiver onboarding and administrative tasks, and supporting overall office operations.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, compassionate, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities
. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. This position offers an opportunity to grow with a developing home care agency and play an important role in both client care and agency operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate, reliable, and respectful in-home care to clients.
  • Assist clients with daily activities and personal care as permitted by training and the client’s care plan.
  • Provide companionship and support while promoting client independence and dignity.
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and other approved non-medical tasks.
  • Assist with caregiver scheduling, client communication, and staffing needs.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide professional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate client and caregiver documentation and records.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and administrative support for caregivers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable home care regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect client privacy at all times.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. CNA is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, responsible, and professional.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client and staffing needs.
  • A genuine desire to serve seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining independence at home.
