Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineering
Description Your role are seeking a motivated geotechnical professional for the Woburn, Massachusetts (Boston) office to assist on a variety of projects throughout the region. Project types will include buildings, infrastructure and transportation, dams and levees, and waterfront development. Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design.
- Observe & manage field explorations and construction activities.
- Coordinate geotechnical laboratory testing and interpret results.
- Perform geotechnical analyses, computations, prepare spreadsheets, prepare and edit drawings using Auto Cad.
- Prepare reports and construction specifications.
- Assist with proposals and business development activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE or EIT) certification.
- Geotechnical course work required.
- 2-4+ years of experience.
- Experience working in a team environment and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of CAD and other common software.
- Willingness to travel on temporary assignment if needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work in the field as needed.
- Ability to perform field work in active constructions sites year-round without restrictions, and in inclement weather if required.
