. Our mission is to help financial professionals build a healthy advisory practice faster with less effort and to eliminate the challenges that hold them back from becoming the best version of themselves.
Founded in 1875, Prudential Financial is a Fortune 100 company known for its legacy of helping individuals and families achieve financial security, now partnered with LPL Financial, a Fortune 500 independent broker‑dealer. With an open‑architecture platform, LPL Financial offers a wide variety of non‑proprietary products that help advisors craft tailored financial solutions for their clients.
Our Career Development Program (CDP) provides the blueprint and support to progress from Financial Planning Associate to Financial Planner. This includes:
- Licensing and registration support, including study material costs and coaching
- Veteran advisor mentorship and a robust training schedule
- Growth‑focused leads and referral programs to jump‑start your practice, in addition to your own prospecting efforts
- A competitive compensation and benefits package, including paid training
With our local corporate offices in Wakefield, MA & Marlborough, MA, and 38 additional private offices across Greater New England—Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont—there is extensive opportunity for mentorship, collaboration, and to build a financial practice as an individual or as part of an advisory team.
A Financial Planner in our CDP will work within a team of Financial Advisors and Planners whose goal is to successfully help their clients achieve financial goals by developing relationships with clients (both existing and prospective), conducting discovery meetings, and implementing financial plans based on the client’s vision. Because of our comprehensive training and development program, no prior knowledge of the financial services industry is required, but prior exposure to the industry and the career is a plus.

- Is an entrepreneurial self‑starter, energized by networking and meeting new people
- Understands the value of having a financial plan
- Has a history of success in a performance‑based setting, individually and with a team
- A Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of professional experience (sales and business development) are preferred
