As an Infection Preventionist and Staff Development Coordinator (IP/SDC), you will develop, oversee, and evaluate infection prevention and control programs to reduce risks and ensure a safe healthcare environment. The role researches, implements, and monitors policies and procedures, conducts surveillance and audits, and collaborates with staff and departments to ensure compliance with infection control standards. Additionally, this role provides education and training to healthcare personnel, promotes adherence to best practices, and supports staff development initiatives to strengthen professional growth and competency, advancing the quality of care across the facility.

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, or related field
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and database management
