They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of their network and server infrastructure. You will act as the go-to technical expert for both infrastructure management and end‑user support, helping drive stability, security, and continuous improvement across the environment.

Location:

Wakefield, MA – 4 days on‑site.

• 8+ years working in a Network Engineer or Network Administrator role within an SMB or enterprise setting
• Strong background managing firewalls, routers, switches, VPN technologies, and general network operations
• Hands‑on experience supporting Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet networking solutions
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows-based administration
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure environments, virtualization (VMware), and backup platforms such as Veeam
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts including routing protocols (e.g., BGP), SD‑WAN, segmentation, IPSec, and wireless technologies

• Maintain and administer core network components and security systems
• Implement improvements to strengthen infrastructure resilience and threat protection

• Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance security policies and operational standards
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 configuration and support
