Job Title

Factory Inspector (PTDE)

Overall Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at manufacturing sites to ensure quality and control of the product’s safety.

Essential Functions

• Conduct verification of all key manufacturing points (goods incoming area, quality system, production area, outgoing area) to ensure the product’s safety on the market and the usage of the TUV SUD logo.
• Conduct verification of product’s critical components.
• Conduct visual and measurement tests.
• Document inspection results by completing TUV SUD reports.
• Complete online annual test to maintain inspector status.
• Participate in site monitoring to maintain inspector status.

Additional Responsibilities

Support the TÜV SÜD America vision and mission statement. Adhere to all TÜV SÜD America policies and procedures as outlined in the various Corporate Policies and the Employee Handbook. Education

Electrical engineer or equivalent electrical safety testing experience.

Experience

10 years of experience.

Material and Equipment Directly Used

• IPAD for performing inspection is required.
• General office equipment: telephone, personal computer, printer, copier, scanner and other communication tools.
