About Fresh Start

Fresh Start helps people facing a period of crisis get the fresh start they deserve. Founded by Victor Oliveira, known to millions online as The Good Boss, Fresh Start turns street outreach and social media into real outcomes: community members and partners contribute directly to an individual's detox, treatment, housing, and essentials, and every dollar is tracked and accounted for. We work alongside treatment centers, recovery programs, brands, and community partners across the country.

We are a small, fast-moving start-up with a very large audience, and we are growing.

The Role

We are looking for a Partnerships & Growth Manager to build and grow the business-to-business relationships that power our mission. You will be the primary point of contact for treatment centers, recovery and behavioral health organizations, sponsors, and brand partners: finding the right partners, pitching them, closing agreements, and keeping those relationships strong. This is a sales and relationship role at heart, and it sits right next to our case management work, so experience on both sides of the house is a real advantage.

If you have professional maturity, you are ready for a challenge at a growing start-up, and you see the chance to make a real impact, we want to talk to you.

What You Will Do 1. Partnership Development & Sales
  • Build the pipeline:
identify, qualify, and pursue treatment centers, detox and sober living providers, behavioral health organizations, sponsors, and mission-aligned brands as Fresh Start partners.
  • Pitch and close:
present our partnership tiers and programs with confidence, tailor the story to each partner, negotiate within approved terms, and move deals to a signed agreement.
  • Own the follow-up:
manage a tracked pipeline in our CRM with a consistent follow-up cadence so no interested partner goes dark.
  • Vet new partners:
review incoming partner applications against our criteria, gather what is missing, and bring qualified partners to leadership with a clear recommendation.
2. Treatment Center & Provider Relations
  • Primary point of contact:
serve as the day-to-day contact for partner and prospective partner facilities, respond promptly, and keep relationships warm and professional.
  • Scholarships and placements:
secure treatment scholarships and coordinate closely with our case manager so clients can be placed quickly into the right level of care.
  • Resource sheet:
keep our treatment center resource sheet accurate and current, including levels of care, insurance and scholarship availability, locations, and contacts.
3. Growth, Sponsor ships & Campaigns
  • Sponsor ships:
develop sponsorship, in-kind, event, and co-marketing opportunities with brands and community partners.
  • Campaign support:
help launch and support fundraising campaigns through partner and contributor outreach, sponsor recruitment, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Media and events:
support media opportunities for our Founder and help plan and represent Fresh Start at partner events and community gatherings.

Lead conversion:
review partnership and sponsorship leads that come in through our social channels and convert the qualified ones into real relationships.

4. Reporting & Team Collaboration
  • Pipeline reporting:
deliver a written Growth & Partnerships update twice a week covering every partner, prospect, facility, and campaign, and help lead our weekly Growth & Partnerships meeting with the COO and Founder.
  • Team rhythm:
join the daily team huddle, track your work in Asana, and coordinate with case management, operations, and social media so our public commitments match what we can deliver.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of business-to-business sales, business development, or partnership experience.
  • Experience in recovery, behavioral health, or addiction treatment, such as admissions, business development or community outreach for a treatment provider, or work with referral partners.
  • A proven ability to build a pipeline, run a sales conversation, and…
