Responsibilities of the Accountant role include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting client compliance work
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
• Supporting senior colleagues with more complex assignments
• Ensuring accuracy, deadlines and compliance standards are maintained

Requirements of the Accountant role include:

• Previous UK practice experience is essential
• AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
• Strong technical understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Good client communication skills and confidence in handling queries
• Proactive, organised and keen to develop within practice
