Part time Tax Accountant

• Salary: £20 to £23 per hour DOE
• 16 hours per week, flexible on the days but ideally over 2/3 days a week

Our client is an accountancy practice that specialises in supporting sole traders and small businesses with practical, straightforward advice. The firm provides accountancy advice and offers a comprehensive range of services, including Self-Assessment tax returns, Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT returns, CIS returns, Limited Company accounts, and Making Tax Digital compliance.

• Experience preparing Corporation Tax returns for Ltd companies using Tax Calc Software is essential
• Submitting Limited Company Confirmation Statements to Companies House
• Be able to use Quick Books to help out with quarterly VAT returns
• Resolving VAT queries and identifying opportunities to improve compliance and efficiency.

• Worked in accountancy practice prior, unfortunately industry-based accountancy will not be the right fit for this role.
• Proficient in Tax Calc - Accountancy and Tax Return Software
• Trained in Quick Books
• AAT Level 3 qualified
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
