We are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to support our Wakefield operations, initially focusing on Greens as part of the Ropsley Group. You will play a key part in month-end reporting, project costing, budgeting and performance analysis, while working closely with operational teams.

This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking accountant who is comfortable driving improvements and supporting financial leadership across a growing multi-entity group.

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial commentary.

Deliver weekly project costing reports to operations.

Support forecasting, budgets and financial analysis.

Monitor cost allocations from payroll, procurement & stores.

Track cashflow, budgets and financial performance.

Support year-end accounts and audits.

Provide insight to aid tendering, milestone planning and cash neutrality.

Liaise with banks regarding contractual bonds.

Support ERP implementation and finance-wide projects.

5+ years’ experience in engineering/contracting.

Strong Excel and ERP background.

Logical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.

Able to drive improvement and manage deadlines.
