Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity in Wakefield? Our client, a reputable automotive dealership, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their established team. • Competitive salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays (08:30 – 12:30)
• Opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicle repair tasks, including complex jobs like timing belts, gearboxes, and clutches
• MOT licence preferred, but not essential, providing additional career progression options

• Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to high standards
• Carry out vehicle inspections and accurately identify faults
• Perform complex repairs such as gearboxes, clutches, and timing belts
• Complete all job documentation accurately and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work carried out and findings
• Maintain high safety standards and adhere to health and safety protocols
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures at all times

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or Level 2 with substantial hands-on experience
• Proven experience within a busy automotive workshop environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
• Must hold a clean UK Driving Licence
• MOT licence is desirable but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
