Our client, a nationally recognised accident repair specialist, is seeking a highly experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Wakefield.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable company and further develop their career within the motor trade industry.

Basic salary of approximately £42,000
On-target earnings up to £48,000
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a half-hour break
30 days holiday

Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles, accurately assessing the extent of damage
Prepare comprehensive repair estimates, utilising Audatex confidently
Determine the most appropriate prescribed repair method
Liaise effectively with insurance companies to agree repair scopes and costs
Record and maintain manual and electronic estimates accurately
Collaborate closely with technicians and other team members to ensure understanding of repair procedures
Monitor repair progress and update clients and insurance companies accordingly
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures

Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

NVQ or ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment or equivalent
Significant experience as a VDA/Estimator within the motor industry
Proficiency in using Audatex software
Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
Full UK Driving License
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
