Our client, a nationally recognised accident repair specialist, is seeking a highly experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Wakefield. • Basic salary of approximately £42,000
• On-target earnings up to £48,000
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a half-hour break
• 30 days holiday

• Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles, accurately assessing the extent of damage
• Prepare comprehensive repair estimates, utilising Audatex confidently
• Determine the most appropriate prescribed repair method
• Liaise effectively with insurance companies to agree repair scopes and costs
• Record and maintain manual and electronic estimates accurately
• Collaborate closely with technicians and other team members to ensure understanding of repair procedures
• Monitor repair progress and update clients and insurance companies accordingly
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures

• NVQ or ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment or equivalent
• Significant experience as a VDA/Estimator within the motor industry
• Proficiency in using Audatex software
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
• Full UK Driving License
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
