Vehicle Damage Assessor

Our client, a nationally recognised accident repair specialist, is seeking a highly experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Wakefield. • - Basic salary of approximately £42,000
• - On-target earnings up to £48,000
• - Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a half-hour break
• - 30 days holiday

• - Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles, accurately assessing the extent of damage
• - Prepare comprehensive repair estimates, utilising Audatex confidently
• - Determine the most appropriate prescribed repair method
• - Liaise effectively with insurance companies to agree repair scopes and costs
• - Record and maintain manual and electronic estimates accurately
• - Collaborate closely with technicians and other team members to ensure understanding of repair procedures
• - Monitor repair progress and update clients and insurance companies accordingly
• - Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures

• - NVQ or ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment or equivalent
• - Significant experience as a VDA/Estimator within the motor industry
• - Proficiency in using Audatex software
• - Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail
• - Full UK Driving License
• - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
