Senior Quantity Surveyor – Wakefield – Groundworks/Civils - £70k + Package*

This company has been established for over 45 years and has both a building and civil engineering division.

The Civil Engineering division is going from strength to strength through gaining repeat business and new clients across Housing Developers, Local Authorities, Private Commercial Developers and Main Contractors. They work on schemes up to £10m in value and currently have a team of 5 commercial staff.

Due to winning yet even more work, they are looking to bolster their team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage their own projects which could under a range of JCT or NEC contracts.

Over 25% of the workforce has been with the company for over 10 years which says a lot about the type of business and culture that they nurture have and they currently have circa 85% of their workforce undergoing tailored training programmes, which again shows the respect they have for developing and retaining high quality staff.

For this role, they are willing to consider candidates who are either looking to make the move into a Senior Quantity Surveying role, or someone who is looking to make a move with opportunities for further progression in the near future. In return, they offer a competitive salary of up to £70k depending on experience, along with a company car or car allowance, discretionary bonus up to 10%, private healthcare and 26 days holiday.
