The Role;
This is a dual Estimating & QS position, offering involvement across both pre-construction and commercial delivery.
You'll work closely with the senior team, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are competitively priced, commercially controlled, and delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities;Estimating:- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for stone and masonry packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Obtain and analyse subcontract and supplier quotes
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Support bid presentations and client discussions
- Manage projects commercially from award through to final account
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability
- Liaise with site teams to track progress and costs
- Manage subcontractor packages and payments
- Experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or combined Estimator/QS
- Background within stone, masonry, specialist subcontracting, or construction/fitout
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Good commercial awareness and cost control skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
