This company is a reputable commercial main contractor delivering new build projects across the UK, typically ranging from £8m‑£15m in value. With an annual turnover of approximately £15m, they are now entering a period of strategic growth and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to help drive this expansion.

Based in Wakefield, you will travel around twice a month, mainly to projects in London, with occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.

• Quantity Surveyor for new build care home projects valued up to £15M
• Manage cost control and commercial aspects from concept to completion
• Office based in Wakefield with occasional travel to London

• Oversee 2–3 live projects, managing all commercial and contractual responsibilities
• Produce cost reports, valuations, and forecasts
• Appoint and manage subcontractors, ensuring robust financial and project performance
• Report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor from the residential or commercial construction sector
• Keen to work on high‑value new build projects
• Ability to commute to Wakefield, West Yorkshire
• Looking for autonomy, progression, and project ownership
