Site Manager

Overview

A well-established and rapidly expanding Social Housing Contractor is currently recruiting a Site Manager on a permanent basis.

The company has grown significantly each year and has a healthy pipeline of work across the North West & Yorkshire region. They specialise in retrofit and decarbonisation of tenanted Social Housing properties, aiming to reduce fuel poverty and the carbon footprint.

The role involves managing a large scheme in Wakefield consisting of solar panel installations for tenanted Social Housing properties.

• Embed the client's requirements in every aspect of the project, providing added value and assurance to the client.
• Assist the Site Manager with any problems or concerns on site.
• Maintain regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative.
• Attend senior management meetings to report on site progression and ensure directors are informed of each development.
• Discuss build-ability and design issues.
• Manage and champion Health & Safety.
• Program and plan all works.
• Devise a build programme.
• Recruit staff, organise trades and labour.
• Ensure KPI's are being achieved.

• Strong background in social housing refurbishment or decarbonisation, with knowledge of working under PAS regulations.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and a valid Driver's License.
• Experience in retrofit.
