Projects Across the UK
FM Search & Select are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Small Works division.
This is a home-based position with travel to project sites across the UK, alongside occasional visits to the regional office in Normanton.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background and a proven ability to deliver refurbishment and redevelopment projects from conception through to completion. Working on projects typically valued between £400k and £1.4m, you'll play a key role in delivering works within existing, live environments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
The Role
You'll take ownership of projects from the initial survey and planning stages through to final handover, managing clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across a range of refurbishment and redevelopment projects, where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Manage refurbishment and redevelopment projects from planning through to completion.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Monitor programmes, budgets, project risks and commercial performance.
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
* Maintain strong client relationships while delivering projects to agreed quality, cost and timescales.
About You
We're keen to speak with Project Managers who have experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or redevelopment projects within occupied buildings. You'll be commercially aware, technically competent and confident managing multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideally you'll have:
* Experience managing projects valued between £400k and £1.4m.
* A background in construction, building services, mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Good knowledge of project planning, contract management and Health & Safety legislation.
* Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
* A relevant HNC, HND or Degree qualification and a full UK Driving Licence.
SMSTS and IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
What's on Offer?
* Home-based role with flexibility and autonomy.
* A varied portfolio of refurbishment and redevelopment projects.
* Long-term career progression within a growing business.
* Support from an experienced commercial and operational team.
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
If you're looking for a role where you'll have real ownership of projects and the opportunity to make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you
