You'll help secure major structural steel projects by:

• Producing accurate and competitive estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Identifying commercially viable opportunities and assessing project risks.
• Building strong relationships with clients while supporting new business opportunities.
• Working closely with design, commercial and project delivery teams throughout the tender process.
• Preparing detailed costings and tender submissions within agreed timescales.
• Helping shape bid strategies that maximise both competitiveness and profitability.

Essential

• Previous estimating experience within construction or engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders while working to tight deadlines.

Desirable

• Experience estimating structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the structural steel industry and tendering processes.
