The RoleYou'll help secure major structural steel projects by:
- Producing accurate and competitive estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Identifying commercially viable opportunities and assessing project risks.
- Building strong relationships with clients while supporting new business opportunities.
- Working closely with design, commercial and project delivery teams throughout the tender process.
- Preparing detailed costings and tender submissions within agreed timescales.
- Helping shape bid strategies that maximise both competitiveness and profitability.

What You'll NeedEssential
- Previous estimating experience within construction or engineering.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders while working to tight deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience estimating structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the structural steel industry and tendering processes.
