Dental Therapist – St Michaels Dental, Wakefield

We are looking for a Dual Qualified Dental Hygiene/Therapist to join our team at St Michaels General in Wakefield. The practice offers quality dental care with a strong emphasis on periodontal health and overall wellbeing.

• GDC‑registered Hygienist or Therapist with experience as a Hygienist
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality dental hygiene and therapy services
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain treatments clearly and motivate patients
• Proficiency in EMS Air‑Flow One Guided Biofilm Therapy, Cavitron, and hand instruments
• Experience with digital radiographs, R4 software, and intraoral scanners
• Knowledge of current dental hygiene practices and preventive dentistry techniques
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on building rapport
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including some evenings and Saturdays
