The role is challenging, meaningful, and deeply rewarding, within a school that places safeguarding, pupil voice, and respect at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement high-quality ICT, Literacy, and Numeracy provision
  • Model and champion outstanding teaching and learning through classroom practice
  • Deliver a stimulating, innovative curriculum that inspires creativity and academic success
  • Implement a robust assessment cycle, including target setting, progress tracking, and monitoring
  • Use pupil progress data to improve teaching, motivate learners, and inform parents and leaders
  • Support pupils to achieve outcomes that demonstrate strong personal progress
  • Support the review and implementation of teaching, learning, marking, and assessment policies
  • Identify, manage, and prioritise high-quality teaching and learning resources and budgets
  • Support literacy and numeracy interventions, including whole-school reading programmes
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and maintain a calm, safe learning environment
  • Support pupils’ personal, social, and academic development
  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and respect
  • Contribute to effective pupil induction, grouping, and pastoral care
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, middle leaders, senior leaders, and pastoral teams
