We specialise in helping pupils with complex SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties, offering personalised interventions and trauma‑informed approaches. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a collaborative and passionate team dedicated to improving students' wellbeing and educational outcomes.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who experience a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Experience as an SEMH Teaching Assistant or in a similar role supporting students with SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Strong empathy, patience, and commitment to helping young people overcome social and emotional barriers.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
• Understanding of behaviour management approaches is advantageous, though full training will be provided.

A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential. All successful applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
