, where you’ll help pupils with Special Educational Needs flourish in a supportive and inclusive environment.

As an SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher
, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons, develop individual learning strategies, and create an inclusive classroom that empowers students to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons adapted to the needs of pupils with SEN.
  • Support students’ learning, confidence, and personal development.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive, and safe classroom environment.
Requirements of SEN Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an SEN Teacher or with pupils with additional needs.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to supporting students of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A responsible and professional approach to safeguarding.
